My name is Malke Asaad. I am a third-year plastic surgery resident at the University of Pittsburgh. After graduating from Aleppo Medical School in Syria, I pursued 3 years of clinical research at two world-renowned institutions – The Mayo Clinic (Rochester, MN) and MD Anderson Cancer Center (Houston, TX). As a research fellow, I worked with leading researchers to produce 100+ publications and partake in 80+ conference presentations.
